Shun’s 8-inch Kiritsuke is the Japanese version of a chef’s knife—an all-purpose knife that makes precise cuts. Its herringbone-patterned blade is the result of seventy-one super thin layers of two high-carbon stainless steels, which create micro serrations along the blade, making it feel sharp longer. (It doesn’t hurt that it also looks super cool.) It comes with a fitted sheath, which willhelp you keep it safe and sharp.
