Pour the mixture back into a clean medium saucepan (cleaning the saucepan prevents the pudding from scorching), add the banana liqueur, and whisk over medium-low heat until it thickens, about 2 minutes. Best pudding recipe! I've tried many recipes and this one is the best in texture and flavor. I didn't have banana flavoring, so i pureed 2 small ripe bananas in the food processor and added it to the mixture after tempering the eggs. Really tasty.
