CONCEALED WEAPON PERMIT COURSE PURPOSE
Provide a practical framework for the safe and responsible carry, storage, security transport and use of weapons by Florida Concealed Weapons
Permit holders and firearm owners. This class exceeds Florida statutory requirements for concealed weapons permits. All firearm training is received one-on-one!
ACADEMIC CLASS TOPICS COVERED
Weapon safety, weapon selection, ammunition selection safe storage, transport in vehicles, Florida legal concerns, situational awareness, conflict avoidance,
Castle Doctrine, Florida Concealed Weapon Permit program and practical application discussion.
ACADEMIC CLASS = $70.00
Course length - 4.5 hours. Please arrive 15 minutes before class starts. Academic Class is strictly classroom content and a separate hands-on live-fire firearm
evaluation may be required. Reference materials and Concealed Weapons Permit application packet provided, as well as a copy of Attorney Jon Gutmacher's book;
Florida Firearms, Law, Use & Ownership - (current edition), a $28.83 value. Class attendees will receive a 10% discount card (with some limitations) for use at
Knight Shooting Sports. All classes require a $50.00 reservation deposit - (transferable with 48 hour notice, but not refundable).
CONCEALED WEAPON PERMIT (CWP) TRAINING PACKAGE = $125.00
Course length - full day. Please arrive 15 minutes before class starts. Includes; academic class, 200-round self defense handgun training,
firing range fees, a copy of Attorney Jon Gutmacher's book; Florida Firearms, Law, Use & Ownership - (current edition), reference materials,
a Concealed Weapons Permit application packet, and all necessary notary seals and passport photos. Class attendees will receive a 10% discount card
(with some limitations) for use at Knight Shooting Sports. All classes require a $40.00 reservation deposit - (transferable with 48 hour notice, but not refundable).
ALREADY HAVE A PERMIT? 200 ROUND SELF DEFENSE HANDGUN CLASS = $80.00
Course length - approximately 4 hours. Please arrive 15 minutes before class starts. Required firing range time is included in the class
fees. Class attendees will receive a 10% discount card (with some limitations) for use at Knight Shooting Sports. Current permit holders are welcome to attend
the academic portion of our CWP class at no charge if they have attended one of our Self Defense or Tactical handgun classes.
SURVEY PACKAGE = $215.00
Includes complete Concealed Weapons Permit Package, Coronado leather fanny pack, and a total Home & Business Security Survey - a
total value of $242.50 *The Home & Business Security Survey is also available on its own for only $75.00

• The $117.00 State of Florida application fee for 5 year CWP, is NOT include in the class fees.
• You may bring your own firearm or rent one from Knight Shooting Sports for a nominal fee.
• Firearm rental fees are NOT included in the class fees.
• Only ammunition purchased from Knight Shooting Sports may be used in rental firearms.
• Ammunition required for live fire training portion of the class is NOT included in class fees.
• Reloaded ammunition is prohibited for the live fire portion of the class.
